Ornsay Beacon lighthouse Sco-019 located on the north end of the small island of ORNSAY and 990yards/ 905 meters north of the Main lighthouse ORNSAY Sco-161 both lights are close to the village of Isleornsay on the ISLE of SKYE and about 9 miles/15Kms from the town of Broadford, the lighthouse can be visited at low water, be prepared it is muddy walk out to the lighthouse also check on the time of the incoming tide or you may be spending a long time there. The lighthouse looks into the Sound of Sleat and across to the Mainland of Scotland with some wonderful scenery as can be seen in the above photographs.
