CNAP POINT FRONT RANGE AND RANGE REAR lights are located on LOCH LONG which runs parallel with LOCH LOMOND, the lights can be viewed from the A814 parking at the FINNART oil terminal or by boat. all my photographs were taken from my zodiac inflatable. The lights are opposite GLENMALLAN which is the loading berth for RFA (Royal Fleet Auxillary) ships who supply the Royal Navy fleet ships with supplies and also carry humanitarian aid to disaster areas, close by is the Finnart oil terminal again used by RFA ships. The RFA ship in the photographs is SIR GALAHAD and also aircraft carrier H.M.S. ARK ROYAL taking on stores and standing by is the FIRE FIGHTING tugboat FLYING PHANTOM . At the end of loch long is ARROCHAR and the torpedo testing station, now closed down. this area is now part of SCOTLANDS first national park.
